Kakime Community Guidelines

Welcome, kaki! 👋

Kakime works best when we play like we're at Bishan sports hall on a Saturday morning — friendly, respectful, and just here for the game. These guidelines keep the vibe right for everyone.

They're shorter and warmer than our Terms of Service — but breaking them can still lead to warnings, suspensions, or a ban. Take a minute, have a read.

🎾 Be a Good Sport

• Treat every other user the way you'd treat your regular doubles partner — with respect.
• No trash talk, personal attacks, or bullying. Save the fire for the court.
• Different sports, skill levels, ages, cultures — all welcome. Don't gatekeep.
• If you say you'll show up, show up. If you can't, message your kaki early.

🎬 Highlights & Uploads — Play Fair

We love your winning smashes, ridiculous rally clips, and gear flexes. Just a few ground rules:

• Keep it under 15 seconds. Kakime Highlights are punchy by design.
• No copyrighted music. Yes, that TikTok trending sound is fun — but it can get Kakime sued by record labels. Please use your own natural game audio or clearly royalty-free tracks only.
• Get consent before you film others. Opponents, teammates, kids on adjacent courts — get a thumbs-up before you post their face on the internet. It's not just polite; it's the law.
• Post your own content. Don't repost other people's videos or photos claiming them as yours.
• Keep it PG. No nudity, no violence, no anything you wouldn't show your grandma at yum cha.

💬 Messages, Games & Meetups — Kaki Etiquette

• Messages are for organising sports. Not for sales pitches, MLM, crypto shilling, or unwanted romantic advances.
• Be honest about your skill level. "Casual doubles" doesn't mean tournament-grade smashes at your intermediate kaki. Match yourself fairly.
• Show up on time. Or message ahead. Ghosting a booked game wastes courts, money, and everyone's Saturday morning.
• Play safe. Kakime doesn't chaperone real-world meetups. Meet in public sports venues. Trust your instincts. Never share your address, ID, or financial details.

🎒 Gear Exchanges — Bring Common Sense

• Kakime is not a shop, escrow, or payment service. Gear listings are just showcases — deals happen between users, outside the app.
• Be honest about condition, authenticity, and price. Selling counterfeit gear as genuine is fraud.
• Meet safely to exchange gear. Public venues, daylight, ideally around Kaki you'd trust.
• We can't refund you if a peer-to-peer deal goes sideways. Same as buying used gear at Carousell — buyer beware.

🚫 What Gets You Banned

• Illegal content (drugs, weapons, minors, hate speech, etc.)
• Impersonating another player, coach, shop, or brand
• Spamming games, DMs, or the highlight feed
• Doxxing or sharing anyone's personal data without permission
• Repeated copyright infringement (music, brand logos, other people's videos)
• Filming or photographing minors (under 18) without a parent's explicit consent
• Trying to game the verification system (fake emails, throwaway accounts)

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these rules. Repeated offenders don't get a second warning.

Saw something off? Screenshot it and email hello@kakime.sg. We read every report personally (it's a hobby project, remember!). We aim to respond within 3 business days for anything urgent.

For copyright / trademark takedown notices, please follow the formal process in Terms Section 5.1.

🧠 Why We Have These Guidelines

Kakime is built by a solo founder in Singapore. Every complaint about a bad kaki, every copyright strike from a record label, every dispute over a broken gear deal — costs real time and money that could otherwise go into making the app better.

Following these guidelines is how you keep Kakime alive, free, and welcoming for the next player who's just looking for a Saturday morning game.
